If you continue to suffer from illegal parkers why not encourage parking and make money for yourself? BGS have introduced a new service that can do just that!!
The site is first assessed for its suitability and Client objectives. From these findings a business plan is agreed and confirmed in writing. Drawing on 7 years of experience, we can advise on how to maximise revenue from the space available.
BGS then finances the Pay & Display machines and installs, maintains, and monitors the site free of charge, based on 3, 5 or 7-year contracts. Having investigated the variety of Pay & Display machines available we strongly recommend solar, as they are more economical needing no electricity, easier to install and can even be relocated easily if required. Each machine is emptied daily, minimising the chances of theft.
As part of the service we erect all the relevant signage: "Pay & Display Car Park", "Pay Here", "Have You Paid & Displayed?", etc, and Information and Tariff Boards, ensuring the public are aware of the conditions of parking.
The parking charges involved will depend on Client aspirations as well as alternative parking charges. It takes time to develop an unknown car park into P&D, but if the hourly charges are competitive it can soon grow. The more parkers the higher the income!
If there is a lack of public parking in the area, we could ask local councils for their support with roadside signage. Due to continued problems in Kingston, The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Parking Division have expressed interest.
BGS Services monitors the site, checking the ticket times on each vehicle. Those who have exceeded their agreed paid time or not displayed a valid Permit would be issued with a Trespass Notice Penalty Charge, reduced for early payment. Owners' details are obtained from DVLA.
